All the way from the UK, a collection from Room 97, and particularly hairdressers Marcello Moccia and Karen Perry, is here to inspire you, also recently taking the title of the new 2020 North Western Hairdressers of the Year at the virtual 2020 British Hairdressing Awards. The all black and white collection, titled Elements 2.0, draws its impact with explicit cut, shape and textural hair techniques and skills.
“Elements 2.0 is all about creating shapes and textures that excite hairdressers as well as clients,” Marcello and Karen explained. “From smooth strands to cropped cuts, braids and cloud-like silhouettes, this collection celebrates the art of hairdressing.”
Alongside these mentioned techniques, undercut details, directional (and cross—directional) movement and bold plays on the concept of the fringe, the bob and the mullet, help the collection stand out. With strong, black and textural fashion styling in its own right, the hair looks build on top of glowing skin and heavy eye makeup, to contrast texture, shape and style all within individual looks.
