Technically ambitious, ultra-modern and a little out of this world, Luminescent reveals the fashion-forward aesthetic of TONI&GUY Australia Creative Director Katy Reeve. Organic texture is anchored by three inspirational cuts, with hero looks including a reinterpreted 60s mullet paired with wispy textural disconnection and a blunt fringe. The collection in its entirety shows off Katy’s talents as a full spectrum hairdresser.
“I wanted this collection to explore two elements; light and movement. Specifically, I wanted to create internal movement with the hair and external movement with a light source,” Katy said.
A moving laser provided the unique light elements that created randomly illuminated panels to accentuate the colour composition and contribute to the collection’s sci-fi feel.
The beauty look made skin overly luminous and understated, while the styling kept to neutral whites and beiges, to pull all focus to the bold hair and photography.
