The results are in from Préma and Youthworx’s Flipagram competition, sending one lucky stylist to New York for Fashion Week in September. The competition called for entrants, who had to be 30 years and under or an apprentice, to make a 30 second flipagram based on the theme #NYC.
Brisbane local Shannon Williams from Tognini’s has taken out the title, winning over dozens of other entries in the four week long competition. She will join Préma’s Francesco Ruggerino backstage at some of world’s most coveted runway shows. We admit, we’re jealous.
“It was so hard to pick a final winner, but this entry was quite sophisticated and professional,” Franscesco shared. “We had over 60 incredible entries. Thank you so much to everyone that entered. We look forward to bringing you more amazing Youthworx opportunities in the future!”
The competition gained a significant amount of attention, with entrant Najette McManus’ entry garnering over 28 000 views, 2144 likes, 72 comments and 144 reflips.
Shannon will have her flights and accommodation taken care of as part of the prize, and will report back on her adventures on the YouthWorx Facebook page.
Keep an eye out for all the updates straight from the trenches, and until then, start spreading the news…
