You Could Become an Educator for Haircare Australia

Major industry company Haircare Australia is searching for their next crop of educators to work with four of their biggest brands – evo, Reuzel, Moroccanoil and Cloud Nine. The opportunity allows you to learn from hairdressing legends who already work with the brands and build your own reputation as a leading educator. It’s a dream gig that could be yours! Let’s dive into each opportunity in a little more detail.

Moroccanoil

Violet Sainsbury

Centred on beautiful, luxury hair, with technical, artistic and business education all pertinent to the brand, Moroccanoil is searching for its next top educators to join their international team. The role allows you to increase your knowledge and skills in a dynamic setting, while also upping your earning potential as a member of the team.

To audition, submit a resume, video introduction, letter of recommendation, portfolio of work and your Instagram handle in one tidy package to be sent by November 20. Entrants must have at least five years of salon experience, hold a Hairdressing Certificate III, work in a salon that uses Moroccanoil products, have a valid driver’s license and be able to accommodate a three-day training event in Adelaide in February and up to eight days as an educator per month.

Reuzel

The Schorem Barbers

Do you want to become a Reuzel Scumbassador (yes, that’s the official name)? This cheeky, fun-loving men’s brand is looking for their new Australian/New Zealand ambassadors and educators, with five spots available in total for both regions. Entrants must be licensed barbers or hairstylists who currently work in a salon that stocks or would be willing to stock the Reuzel range. Those who make the shortlist will be called for a phone interview, and the final picks will need to attend a 5 day training session in Adelaide at the very end of January.

To enter, create a 5 to 8 minute cutting and styling video using the Reuzel products, showcasing your skills and personality. The video has to be submitted by November 20 at the latest.

Cloud Nine

Renya Xydis

Cloud Nine’s electrical styling tools are known to create luscious locks, and their educators are the purveyors of wisdom for how to achieve these covetable styles. If you think you have what it takes to join this premium team, create a 5 to 8 minute video using the tools to style hair, and submit it by November 20.

Entrants are required to have a Hairdressing Certificate III or IV, work in a Cloud Nine salon, have a valid driver’s license and be prepared to work with the team for up to five days a month. A live three-day training course will take place at the end of February in Adelaide, and those selected must be available to participate.

evo

Lauren McCowan

Known for their bold, quirky sensibilities, evo is a brand with a sense of humour and a passion for dynamic hair. If you want to educate for the brand in Australia, create a 5 to 8 minute video doing a haircut with the evo products as your tools, due by November 20. Demonstrate how to use the products, and show off your big personality, as is paramount to being on the evo team.

Jules Tognini

Entrants must be employed by a salon that does or would stock evo, have a Hairdressing Ceritificate III or IV and a valid driver’s license, and be able to work for the brand up to five days a month. A four day training event in Adelaide at the end of January will also be required of those selected.
