In a first-ever collaboration, ghd teamed up with Australian fashion darlings Sass & Bide in September to style their off-site London Fashion Week show.
Titled Futuregrand, the wildly successful design duo, Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clare, wowed London audiences with a sophisticated collection that mixed milky neutral tones with bold ethnic prints and their signature metallic embellishments.
Strong shoulders featured alongside white maxi-dresses, bodysuits, harnesses and a new season take on the infamous Black Rats – this year’s version are a much more overstated affair with beading and studs running from top to bottom, intersected by heavily embellished knee guards.
ghd session stylist Sophie Roberts headed up the hair team creating a series of modern voluminous quiffs using the ghd IV styler and key products from the hair styling giant’s thermodynics range.
“The hair for Sass & Bide this season was a blend of modern rockabilly with the effortless confidence of an early 90s undercut,” said Roberts.
