Australia’s first ever event for independent hair, beauty and wellness professionals, the Indie Empowerment Summit is coming to Sydney on Monday, September 23 from 9:30am to 4:30pm at the Ovolo, Woolloomooloo. Paving the way for independent hair and beauty professionals, the summit will present a full day of inspiration, education and practical insights to elevate independent hairdressers’ personal brands and businesses.
Presented by independent hair and beauty professional salon brand, Salon Lane, this one-day conference is tailored exclusively for independent hair, beauty, and wellness freelancers and entrepreneurs. The agenda will present an immersive and practical program featuring four keynotes, two panels and six workshops thanks to 17 inspirational speakers.

The agenda is kicks off with a keynote speech from Osher titled ‘It’s A Little Different When You’re The Product’, as based on his inimitable brand experience. It then covers a conversation between Osher and Natalie Anne around ‘How to Turn Your Passion into a Profitable Business’ before morning tea. Katy Reeve and Martha Bedgood will present on the ‘Faces of Empowerment: Indies in Action’ panel, compered by INSTYLE’s own Cameron Pine, while Patrick Kidd, Jose Bryce Smith, Marie Cocciolone and Dr Naomi McCullum will teach ‘How To Become A Brand Ambassador’ in a panel also compered by Cameron.
