The foils help the environment in a myriad of ways, firstly in their construction from recycled aluminium, as the foils are 100 per cent recyclable. Recycling aluminium is easy and the material is infinitely recyclable. Importantly, recycling aluminium saves up to 95 per cent of the energy needed to produce new aluminium and it can also be recycled repeatedly. Recycling aluminium can save up to 8kg of bauxite, four kilograms of chemicals, and 14,000 watts of electricity. Organisations such as Sustainable Salons can even pick up your salon recycling to hand it in, making the process exceedingly simple.
Additionally, users can take sustainability even further, with 100 per cent carbon neutral shipping, where emissions are offset thanks to a partnership with Carbon Positive Australia.
Other environmental features include a partnership with Planting a Tree and the Australian Koala Foundation.
