Personalised haircare programs to suit every hair need are on offer from TIGI using the latest products and technology from their recently launched Copyright Care range. The collection maximises professional hairdressing knowledge by giving the tools and scope necessary for hairdressers to recommend to clients the ideal in-salon prescriptive treatment and a complementary customisable retail range, creating covetable salon tresses that last all month long.
“The launch of TIGI Copyright Care signifies a very exciting time for TIGI. The mega-trend of personalisation and customisation can now be found within a revolutionary haircare brand and TIGI are trailblazing the way with this important innovation,” said Stephen Wire, Global R&D Director for Unilever. “A head of hair may have over 100,000 hair fibres. Every strand of hair has a different shape, thickness and elasticity. Therefore, everyone’s haircare needs and desires vary. We have developed a new haircare range that can be individually tailored to these needs. We have selected these ingredients from a palette of over 1000 to design products that are intermixable to enable complete flexibility for the hairdresser.”
The range extends from luxury in-salon treatments to necessary at-home care, while also ideally complementing the TIGI copyrightcolour range, for professional, comprehensive results.
Hero products abound in the extensive range, but the Copyright Care SOS Extreme Recovery Treatment is an obvious headliner. It contains 100 times more keratin than just using shampoo and conditioner and provides an essential lifeline for damaged hair.
“The TIGI Copyright range is a personalised product range that is designed to suit each individual client and their needs,” explained TIGI ambassador Michele McQuillan. “It’s about customising products to specific types of hair and bringing it back to that youthful state no matter what the age or condition, and bringing the youthful lustre back from within the hair. The Copyright range not only repairs damaged hair It makes it stronger from within enhancing the natural movement and form within the hair.”
“There are 28 products within the Copyright wash and care range, which are all intermixable for a fully bespoke service,” she continued. Another point of difference is the customisable treatment, which pairs the Copyright Care Treatment Base, infused with keratin, shea butter and the range’s unique vitamin complex, with a unique booster carefully selected by the hairdresser for each client.
Hairdressers can intermix the boosters or choose them individually. Boosters range from the Repair Booster, formulated with Keratin Bond Complex, the Shine Booster, which contains Coconut Oil and Cassia Leaf Oil for high gloss and the Smooth Booster with Shield Lipid Complex and bamboo extract to fight humidity and frizz.
“The boosters can also be a quick fix for in-between salon visits,” Michele said. “Clients just need to smooth 1 to 5 pumps through the ends of their hair with the treatment base and leave on for 5 minutes before rinsing out the conditioner for a beautiful finish. Another favourite is the Colour Shampoo and Conditioner, which are great for chemically treated or damaged hair. They are sulphate free so won’t fade your hair colour or keratin treatment.”
The range has won acclaim at home and abroad in its time on the market, emboldening professionals and consumers to take their own and their clients’ hair needs totally into their control.
“We believe in working cut and colour in synergy to create customised looks for salon clients,” said Anthony Mascolo, TIGI Founder and International Artistic Director. “With the launch of TIGI Copyright Care we are able to give a bespoke service, created for the individual client with a luxurious experience, clients can continue at home between salon visits.”
