Established in Sweden in 2006 with a purpose to design, manufacture and market playful watches, TRIWA has more recently taken off down under thanks to a constantly evolving seasonal approach to the minute mover.
Inspired by the well-heeled Italian’s perspective on time, at TRIWA, watches are tagged with ‘accessory’ opposed to ‘time piece’ and deliver a fresh perspective on colour with the turn of each season – injecting the tonal movements of leading design houses with a twist of TRIWA into each and every accessory.
Throw in the use of innovative materials and sophisticated design, and there’s no wonder Kym Ellery (designer of Ellery) elected TRIWA to add interest to her Rosemount Australian Fashion Week parade.
The aberration setting TRIWA ahead of the pack shines through campaigns highlighting a unique perspective on time, and the Spring/Summer 2010/2011 collection ‘Miami Deco’ is a slightly sinister yet stunning example.
Time marks the creature throughout the Miami Deco collection with twisted, hand variations of the bird, dog and spider – an interesting canvas for pastel-on-steroids to well and truly pop.
In Spring/Summer 2010/2011 TRIWA will strap bright notes of dusty turquoise, flamingo pink, and lavender on the wrists of style setters across the nation – pairing the shades with gold detail in the perfect compliment to sun-kissed skin.
Masculinity is appeased with sapphire blue, emerald green, black and goldstone, and the best part is, with a competitive price point, a watch for morning, noon and night becomes a reality!
