Hair Shots 2 The World, the world’s first specialist international hair photography PR service, celebrates turning eight with a new service menu and a competition that gives one lucky salon the best international publication strategy of all.

“We have developed an innovative release strategy that can spread the collection around the world faster,” Leanne Cutler, Head of Hair Shots 2 The World said. “This has been packaged into a Premium offering which is already attracting to corporate clients, RTOs and hairdressers with aligned marketing strategy.”

She said that the Premium offering was also developed for those hellbent on getting hard copies of publication.

“We are all struggling with the high costs of postage worldwide,” Leanne said. “Adding to this, things are spearheading into the digital age at a lightning fast rate.   Most magazines have created a digital format as well to increase readership and amortise postage costs.

“Instead of making the unpopular choice of scrapping the supply of print clippings altogether, at this point in time, we can still supply as many print clippings as we can access in the Premium package.”

The Premium package also includes “jump the queue” priority release, digital clippings, up to 10 social media tiles or clippings video on request, the fast-tracked strategy, interview management, media monitoring for 18 months and three rounds of offerings.

The Star package is a re-working of the original service but now with the supply of digital clippings only, three rounds of offering, interview management and 18 months of media monitoring.

“It’s expected that the Star package will be the most popular as digital clippings can go straight onto social media, salon screens, web sites and other marketing.

“A new service will be trialed for apprentice collections later in the year, so what this space for that!”
