The Australian Hair Industry Awards (AHIAs) have come and gone for 2019, naming a flurry of talented Australian winners in front of 650 guests in the Gold Coast. As MCed by Will Fennell and opened by the festival inspired Laserman show, this event honoured the best of the best in business within our stellar hairdressing community across 29 categories.
Important awards across the categories included the all-important Australian Business of the Year award – this year deservedly given to salon icons Sloans of Lane Cove – as well as the Hall of Fame honour, Special Recognition Award, Vidal Sassoon Humanitarian recipient and the emerging stars in the 2019 Hot Shots team. The all new Care Treat and Style Product awards also proved important in recognising the important launches and innovations and hair.
With plenty of dancing, an official after party and celebrations galore, these worthy winners took the celebrations to the highest level. Congratulations to all the winners, listed below.
