The American Crew Australian All Star has been named for 2020! Luke Munn from Attaboy Barber in South Australia has been given this illustrious title, awarded for his twist on a modern mullet. In even more exciting news and, as a testament to Luke’s skill, Luke has also been named as one of five global winners, representing Australia with aplomb.
Luke’s look uses plenty of texture for an easy, wearable hairstyle that frames the face and utilises the model’s face structure for a solid shape, style and cut in the hair look. In front of an illustrious global judging panel that included David Raccuglia, Founder of American Crew™, Paul Wilson, Global Artistic Director; Phoenix Thomson, Global Education Manager and Gill Gorman Round, Global General Manager, Luke’s look was judged for its technical skills, shape, control, cutting prowess, clipper skills and artistic ingenuity.
“The looks created by these country’s winners are next-level,” David said. “With so many talented barbers and stylists, the evolved format of five All-Star Challenge winners versus one, allows the brand to acknowledge even more industry-leading talent. These country’s winners have already achieved great success, providing excitement and inspiration to the men’s barbering community worldwide and we are looking forward to further sharing their creativity and skill.”
Luke and the fellow global winners have claimed a monetary prize and all-expense paid trip to California to participate in an editorial shoot photography by David in LA.
American Crew continues to show the inspiration, creativity, skill and innovation in men’s hair, motivating the global industry and making dreams come true.
Congratulations to Luke!
