An inspiring session has been announced as the finale to the REALtalk Business Forum morning that will be part of kicking off Hair Festival 2023. Global futurist Anders Sörman-Nilsson will be the event’s keynote speaker, presenting a session titled Re-Imagining a Sustainable Customer Journey Fit for the Future.
Anders is an adviser to Apple, Meta, BMW, Lego, Dyson, and Kérastase and the founder of the think tank and trend analysis firm Thinque, which provides data-based research, foresight and thought leadership assets for global brands across four continents. He is also an award-winning and celebrated keynote speaker, as well as an author with three public books based on digital transformation and innovation. Anders is a member of the TEDGlobal Entrepreneurs Organization and is the Sydney Chapter’s Leadership Impact Chair for this group. He was also nominated to the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders in 2019, and is the author, creator and host of a myriad of technologies, reports and a podcast that are anchored in these topics. His ideas have been shared by the Wall Street Journal, Financial Review, Monocle, BBC, South China Morning Post, Esquire and ABC TV.
The REALtalk keynote speech will decode the psychology of the emergent Conscious Consumer. This will teach you as a salon owner how to re-imagine and re-design your customer journey from a digital perspective and beyond, with sustainability, loyalty and your bottom line as major focuses and incentives. Anders will talk through digital technologies such as AI, ChatGPT, Dall-E and Midjourney to assess how they can elevate empathy and creativity, as well as assisting with mundane tasks that will allow you to focus more on the meaningful parts of your job and the salon experience. Anders will teach how to harness emergent technologies to ensure a point of difference and cater to your clients and your own artistry.
Anders joins the full morning REALtalk event that will offer speakers and panels with focuses on education, mental health, technology and more. Leading speakers such as Lisa Conway from The Zing Project, Jane Barrett from Pivot Point and Stephanie Mason from Showpony will join panellists such as renowned industry members Paloma Garcia, Chris Hunter and Jake Putan, as well as representatives from Shortcuts, Sustainable Salons, Timely, Ezidebit and L’Oréal Access.
