Aveda supported cruelty-free breast cancer research through the month of October, in sales of the brand’s Limited-Edition Hand Relief™ Moisturizing Crème. During October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the brand donated $10 from each sale of the product to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
With a goal to raise $350,000 globally in support of cruelty-free breast cancer research through these sales and fundraising efforts, Aveda’s 2023 campaign built on 22 years of philanthropic efforts in this space, through which they’ve donated over $7.7M to BCRF. Aveda have spent over 20 years offering limited-edition breast cancer campaign products and highlighting awareness around environmental and lifestyle factors that possibly affect the risk of breast cancer.
The Limited-Edition Hand Relief™ Moisturizing Crème is fully vegan and features an invigorating rosemary mint aroma. The portable, 100ml product is built with andiroba oil and other plant hydrators that help infuse skin with nourishment for moisturised, soft hands. The product is packaged in a 45 per cent post-consumer HDPE tube and is manufactured using 100 per cent renewable energy at Aveda’s primary facility. Since Aveda has always opposed animal testing, donations from Aveda will never support research involving animals.
