Prominent Australian self-care app Blys has expanded their on-demand wellness platform to beauty and haircare. The platform extended their service offering for clients to book and experience beauty and hair services at home from March 2022, changing the face of freelance hair and beauty services for both clients and professionals.
App users can now order a facial, manicure and pedicure, lash and brow treatment, haircut and colour, spray tan, wax, hair and makeup styling or teeth whitening to be experienced at home, making booking beauty appointments particularly convenient.
“After thousands of conversations with clients and providers on the Blys platform, we found a common theme: ‘I love that I can book massages that work around my schedule, and I would love it if I could book other services, too’,” said Ilter Dumduz, Founder and CEO of Blys. “Our vision for the company then evolved from ‘we make massages accessible’ to ‘we make self-care accessible’.”
The app’s purpose is in elevating accessibility in self-care, from price point to mobility, time limitations and more.
“Self-care is whatever makes you feel good, be it physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually or socially. So if you can better express yourself because you’ve got your nails done or you feel confident in your skin because you had an amazing facial, and that’s your definition of self-care, then that’s great. Blys is available to clients via their app or website with services all week from 6am to 11pm. The platform has serviced over 100,000 Australians and this expansion speaks to their continual growth.
