The De Lorenzo 22/23 Spring Summer collection, titled Reverie, honours the brand’s commitment to nature and the environment, as inspired by the aesthetic of a dreamscape-style rainforest. The collection was led De Lorenzo’s Brand Ambassador, Brad Ngata, and Education Manager, Megan Yabsley.
The brand defined Reverie as a “a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts or being taken on a dreamy adventure”, producing an ethereal group of looks and images that embrace hair’s natural beauty. The collection is anchored by earthy rich tones that bring natural texture and movement to life and simple styling that showcases diversity for any hair type or length.
The first hero look is Nina, a sophisticated, fairy-like aesthetic made of blended, rich brunette tones with an effortlessly tousled style, as complemented with a whimsical, fluttery dress. The deep colour was blended over three formulas, while the hair styling presents a natural beachy texture, with the mid-lengths and ends flickering out to a warm golden tone, enhancing movement and dimension. Elements Vapour Mist was a key tool in setting the ribbon curls, while Elements Quicksand and Instant Allevi8 Shine Serum finished the look.
Niamh is a demure, delicate and refined look, with golden hues of honey, creamy blondes and sandy browns offering a sun-kissed, natural take on depth and dimension, created across four formulas. This unique colour is complemented by stylistic tools such as Elements Sandstorm for hold and shape, Argan Oil to finish and Elements Motion and Bond Defence Extinguish to prep the look.
The sultry, boho look is Kawani, showcasing a free and feminine spirit created through natural, soft textures enhanced by plaiting the hair before styling to create volume, as well as using earthy, rich brunette tones that melt into caramel mid-lengths and ends for additional dimension, as blended over three formulas. Bond Defence Extinguish, Elements Amplify, Argan Oil and Elements Vapour Mist all work to prep, set and finish.
Lastly, Lucy shows off a long, tousled style with delicate face-framing plaits, enviable texture and infinite movement. The rich brunette hue tapers out to caramel for dimension, as created through two formulas. Bond Defence Extinguish, Elements Ocean Mist, Elements Vapour Mist and Elements Ocean Mist set and dress the hair.
