ELEVEN Australia brought hair fashion to New Zealand, styling backstage at the Superette show at New Zealand Fashion Week on August 31st. The brand’s Co-Creative Director and 2018 Australian Hairdresser of the Year Joey Scandizzo and his team created the look for the No Vacancy-titled show, complementing an array of cool girl clothes as they walked the runway.
“Sleek, high-shine hair is going to be a huge trend for Spring/Summer, it’s all about gloss,” Joey said. “The Superette look was cool and modern but still really sleek and sophisticated.”
Hero tools included the ELEVEN Australia Miracle Hair Treatment and ELEVEN Australia Sea Salt Spray for prep, and the ELEVEN Australia Medium Round Brush and ELEVEN Australia Flat Iron for styling.
The ELEVEN Australia Give Me Hold Flexible Hold Hairspray finished the look while the ELEVEN Australia Smooth & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum was vital in creating that pivotal shine.
The collection itself was inspired by New York City summers and road trips in Palm Springs, and included limited edition collaborations with Bassike, P.E. Nation, Dylan Kain, Ragdoll L.A., Amber Sceats, Status Anxiety and Bec & Bridge, as well as in-season styles from Camilla & Marc, Aje, Saturdays NYC and Sass & Bide.
This diverse offering was well unified by the chic ELEVEN Australia aesthetic, which will be at home on the runway and in the chair for a high-fashion salon look this summer. Be prepared.
