Following the Australian Hair Industry Awards (Creative) last month, our shared industries are turning attention to the Australian Beauty Industry Awards 2022, where mocha group have just announced the finalists. Launched in 2021, these specialist awards put the focus onto pioneers across beauty, skincare and makeup.
“2022 has been our biggest year yet as far as entries with the sheer volume of high quality submissions testament to the strength of our industry. So many of our beauty and makeup experts are operating at a global standard and we are thrilled to honour their innovation and skill. I’m so incredibly proud of all of our industry and the Mocha team can’t wait to celebrate in person,” said Linda Woodhead.
Hosted at The Star Sydney on August 21, this in-person event will build on last year’s debut, which had to be cancelled due to COVID restrictions. This year, the beauty industry’s greatest talents will gather to honour award recipients across a range of categories, while also inducting the Beauty Squad of emerging talents.
In addition to the categories listed below the evening will announce recipients of the Hall of Fame, sponsored by Elleebana, Special Recognition Award, Humanitarian Award, National Wholesaler of the Year and the Australia Salon/Spa of the Year in both 4 Treatment Rooms or Less and 5 Treatment Rooms or More, to be determined from the winners of the state categories, all sponsored by mocha group.
