Kao Salon division has an important announcement, naming Chris Hudson as their newly appointed sales manager for Godlwell and KMS. The appointment comes at a dynamic time for the international mega-conglomerate, who have named new international roles as well.
“I am delighted that Chris has chosen to join us,” said Justin Anderson, general manager of Kao Salon Division Australia. “Chris brings a tremendous amount of experience to our team with an extensive sales background in the salon industry. He will be a great leader for our talented Sales Team with his strong knowledge and his approach to customer service. Chris has a fantastic reputation in our industry and will be a true asset to lead our sales team into the future.”
“I am very excited about the opportunity that lies ahead of me with Goldwell and KMS in Australia,” Chris added. “They are brands that come with a rich history of strong customer service, continued innovation and the ability to push the industry in to the future. There is a real dedication to education and training, which is a vital part in ensuring we set up our salons for success and develop the hairdressers of tomorrow. I look forward to working with the Justin and the team, and beginning a new chapter in my career with the Kao group.”
Earlier this year, the company declared that Trevor Attenborough, the brand’s general manager for Kao Salon North America and Mark Giannandrea, general manager of Kao Salon UK, had been named in the new roles of vice president, salon commercial, Americas and vice president, salon commercial, EMEA, respectively. These changes emboldened the leadership and organisational structure of Kao internationally, feeding into the success of the company on a local level as well.
“In the fast-paced environment of today’s salon industry, we must constantly adapt our organisational structure to address the future needs of salons and their clients,” explained Cory Couts, global president, Kao Salon Division. “These new, critical roles will help us to be closer to our customers than ever, as well as strengthen the execution of our long-term strategy. Enriching the lives of stylists, salons and clients is at the heart of everything we do at Kao Salon.”
At home or abroad, Kao continues to be steered in great hands.
