Goldwell have announced their newest step in colour innovation with the release of Topchic Zero, the latest addition to the brand’s line of permanent in-salon colour and the newest evolution of their Topchic brand. The technology is defined as innovative, powerful and responsible, with 27 versatile hues to elevate artistry while still caring for the hair’s quality.
The formula is responsibly developed and ammonia free, catering to clients and hairdressers that are looking for sustainable haircare and colour options, without sacrificing performance. The formula builds on nearly 50 years of Goldwell’s colour expertise and the Topchic range’s reputation as a versatile, high-performance colour offering.
“Looking ahead to the future, being aligned with a brand that is passionate about their environmental footprint, whilst having a strong focus on delivering ammonia-free hair colour with incomparable results, Goldwell Topchic Zero is what I choose each and every time,” said Goldwell National Ambassador, Alannah Read.
The collection has been developed by colour experts to ensure natural, reliable grey coverage up to 100 per cent, natural looking, durable, even colour results and smooth and glossy hair with up to two times more shine. This is all in a vegan formula that contains up to 94 per cent naturally-derived ingredients. The drain-safe formula is up to 98 per cent biodegradable, while the packaging is also sustainably and responsibly sourced and made from up to 100 per cent recycled and recyclable materials. Topchic Zero also contains zero per cent ammonia, silicones, ethanol or animal-derived ingredients.
The technology is built with Acai and white tea essence as natural remedies that fight hair breakage and offer intense conditioning and natural moisture. The brand’s patented IntraLipid and BondPro+ Technology also ensures maximum hair protection during the colouring process.
Importantly, Goldwell has partnered with ClimatePartner so that Topchic Zero contributes to efforts to slow climate change and promote sustainability by producing fewer carbon emissions from raw materials, packaging, production, transport, and disposal.
“Now more than ever, the demand for reduced chemical and sustainable products is huge. Topchic Zero is amazing; there is no smell, the consistency of the product is creamy and mimics that of conditioner, the coverage and lift are as good as what we know from the original Topchic. I’m excited for my clients to experience it,” Alannah said.
