This June, Goldwell will be using great hair as a philanthropic avenue, hosting their Colour For A Cure Initiative and donating $50 to The Leukaemia Foundation with every Goldwell colour service experienced in that month.
“Through the Goldwell Colour For A Cure initiative, we are raising funds in a fun and colourful way to support The Leukaemia Foundation in continuing their important work in researching a cure, while supporting patients and their families affected by blood cancer,” said Justin Anderson, General Manager, Kao Australia Salon Division (Goldwell & KMS).
“Goldwell is thrilled to be working with The Leukaemia Foundation on this colourful fundraising campaign,” he continued. “We love that they are able to make an immediate impact on the lives of those affected by blood cancer, while simultaneously searching for a cure. It’s fantastic to be able to contribute to such a powerful cause.”
Clients need to just book in their Goldwell colour appointment and then post their new colour look to Instagram with the tags #goldwellcolourforacure and @goldwellaus to secure the important charity. The organisation helps those with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders to survive and have a better quality of life. It’s a vital charity, especially considering that every day 35 Australians are diagnosed with these blood disorders and someone loses their life from blood cancer every two hours. As such it is the third most common cause of cancer death in Australia, a stat that Goldwell are working hard to improve.
Clients can request a new bright hue, a necessary touch-up or any colour work and be eligible within the campaign. Well done to Goldwell for facing such an important issue in a colourful way.
