The 2023 Hair Festival event will be another opportunity to shop for all your must-have salon tools and products, as well as explore new business and sustainability concepts, and connect with your industry peers. This will all be possible at the Hair Festival MarketPlace at Carriageworks, Sydney, which will expand from its 2022 iteration and remain totally free to enter over the June long weekend. Registration to the MarketPlace, and tickets to the full event of education, networking, party and competition opportunities, is officially open!
The 2022 MarketPlace wowed attendees with a vast selection of brands and concepts, travelling from business to a specialised men’s focus and everything in between, while showing off the latest in hair tools, care products, style, technology, extensions and so much more. The floor also showcased education at the stands as well as product demonstrations. It was also the ideal meeting place for the hair salon community.
The 2023 offer all these advantages and then some. The MarketPlace will include the new INSTYLE and Styleicons Coffee Hub, becoming the place to meet friends and enjoy coffee, snacks and even some wine. It can also be used for networking and meetings, and it will be a display area for inspiring and bold model looks from the Education Sessions.
The Festival Hub will offer an all-new location and your choice of meals, boasting a wide variety of food trucks, coffee vans, sweet temptations and more, across from the MarketPlace. It will also showcase model parades and live hair competitions.
The MarketPlace is a necessity for hairdressers and salon owners looking to find out what’s new, trending and innovating in the hair sphere, with free entry to this array of insights, launches and shopping opportunities.
Vendors will also make use of a prime opportunity to meet, connect with and sell to the hub of the industry, which will gain free access to the stands to discover products and innovations. In 2022, this proved a worthwhile opportunity for businesses and brands who were able to shine a light on their launches and tools, and make valuable contacts to evolve their brand.
“I thought the MarketPlace was exceptional, for me, as a new brand that launched six months ago, it was a wonderful opportunity to really expose myself to the hair industry and understand what salons and hairdressers are looking for and how they operate,” shared Amadou Doumbia of Wuli Grooming. “I went in there with the perception that it would be more of a trade environment. Yes, I made sales, but I gained more in terms of education and knowledge of how hairdressers operate. One of the biggest advantages was that I ended up learning more about working with hairdressers in two days than I could have ever imagined, it would have otherwise taken me probably me weeks if not months to gather the same level of intel. In addition to that, I did come away from it gaining some great contacts in the retail and distribution channels of haircare products, who I’m now in conversations with to further my brand.”
“If you want to change the direction of your business in two days, then secure a spot at Hair Festival 2023 now,” added Irene Manyk, Base Hair Extensions. “Hair Festival has given our business so many opportunities from new business to game changing industry contacts. If you are a new business or an established business in the hair industry and you are not considering exhibiting at Hair Festival, there is an issue. We can’t wait for 2023.”
We’ll see you on the floor and beyond in June, 2023.
