In an ever-changing media landscape, INSTYLE’s print magazine is going quarterly in 2024, changing from a bi-monthly structure, to a new look, improved, bigger and better INSTYLE launching as seasonal issues from the beginning of next year.
The new launch speaks to the growing dynamic offerings around INSTYLE, which is housed with Styleicons’ online content and the Hair Festival salon industry weekend event. This development will offer a new look, new features and new content strands in the print magazine, while elevating the online offering with more relevant news, launches and inspirational features, and shining a light on the new-look Hair Festival event as well.
“In order to provide an increased portfolio of digital content and bespoke executions it was imperative to review our print offering to ensure we influence our entire network with a diverse portfolio, engagement flexibility and a compelling brand message at key launch periods of the year,” shared INSTYLE Editorial and Creative Director Cameron Pine. “Our 2024 offering Is sure to create maximum impact.”


2024 will present new opportunities for INSTYLE to continue to serve and inspire the hair industry in its fourth decade of operation as a community stalwart. Hair Festival’s significant relaunch alongside it will include a new date and new venue, as it takes over Sydney’s ICC on June 30 and July 31.
“The industry is changing and so is business,” shared Jo Cowan, National Sales Director. “We pride ourselves on developing new media opportunities and Hair Festival is testament to that. The buzz around the date and venue change for Hair Festival 2024 is a crucial part of growing and innovating. The move to quarterly for the magazine adds to that growth – it creates for brands new advertising opportunities, new content formats and digital activities on Styleicons. Print issues in 2024 will now land in February, May, August and November, with the upcoming November issue as the final bi-monthly magazine and the first quarterly edition launching in early February. Subscribers will still receive their entitlements.
