Multi-award winning Canberra hairdresser and owner of Bond Hair Religion, Jenni Tarrant OAM, has taken home the award for Altitude Excellence in Professional Services Award at a gala ceremony in Sydney. The award speaks to Jenni’s exceptional skills and excellence in business amidst strong competition of female leaders in a range of fields.
“I am delighted to have Bond Hair Religion recognised in the category of excellence in professional services. Trades aren’t often regarded in the same way as categories such as accountants and legal services, but we are absolutely committed to delivering excellence in every conceivable way,” Jenni said.
“Business excellence requires consistency at every level, from initial enquiry, through to a follow up after the appointment. It must be so seamless that the client is transported from busy to blissful within just a few minutes of walking through our door. No matter what the ‘business’ is, it can be a vehicle to help people feel cared about and bring some joy into their lives.”
The Altitude Awards are presented by Women with Altitude and held annually to provide an opportunity to acknowledge those who have made outstanding contributions as business owners, volunteers, employees, creative thinkers and leaders.
Jenni is renowned as a business leader, creative innovator and humanitarian. In 2018, she was awarded the Vidal Sassoon Humanitarian Award for her ongoing philanthropic endeavours, through which she supports Toora Women’s Refuges, Canberra LifeLine, BraveHearts, ACT for Kids, Shave for A Cure, and many other charities. Fundraisers have included walking the Kokoda Track, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, riding a horse across Mongolia, walking 160 kms in 4 days, and living in her car for a week to bring awareness to the plight of the ‘hidden homeless’.
