Major hair news hit the runway in London as mega-star model Kendall Jenner traded her usually brunette locks for blonde as she walked for Burberry. You didn’t need to be in the front row to see it up close, Kendall gave her 116 million Instagram followers a closer look on her Instagram stories.
She isn’t the first from Kardashian clan to drastically and legitimately break the internet by truly going blonde (sister Kim would have that honour, while Kylie’s hair experimentation always makes headlines).
Surprisingly, this doesn’t seem to be a runway-specific wig, as the colour was created by celebrity colourist Tracey Cunningham for a seemingly genuine and viral hair transformation, but we’ve been fooled before!
The change (whether real or not) caused a social media firestorm, catching the attention of her sister and fellow blonde Khloe Kardashian who comically quipped on twitter “she’s so perfect either way! I mean now she looks exactly like me.” The response from Kendall? “You wish bitch.”
The look has understandably made global news on every hair, fashion and lifestyle title internationally, and Kendall’s Instagram feed video of the show has been viewed millions of times. She joins other celebrities going brighter for the northern hemisphere warmer seasons. Whether this is real or temporary, the trend is set and your clients are already on board.
