Kerasilk has proudly partnered with Rachel Gilbert for 2023 International Women’s Day and the brand’s Limited Edition T-Shirt campaign. The campaign features Rachel Gilbert and her female staff members, photographed together in Sydney, with styling by Kerasilk National Ambassador Kirby Lago.
The campaign theme is focused on embracing equity, with an approach that considers that each person has different circumstances and allocating the exact resources and opportunities to reach an equal outcome. The brand has partnered with the Women’s Community Shelter and will donate 100 per cent of sales of the two Limited Edition white T-Shirts to the Women of the shelter, as well as 10 per cent of online fashion purchases from March 8 to 10. Influencers and creatives are encouraged to share the message of IWD while wearing the Rachel Gilbert T-Shirt.
“It was an honour to work on a campaign that is driving change and equity for women,” Kirby, who will also represent the campaign on social media, shared. “I work with women, my clients are women and I’m a mother to three small girls. I’m proud to share this important message raising the awareness of #embraceequity and the Women’s Community Shelter.”
In the campaign, Kirby previewed the new Kerasilk range, which launches this April, and offers pastel packaging, new products and vegan formulations, building on the four-decade old legacy range that is bioengineered with exclusive Biometric Silk. Kirby worked with Rachel and her teams’ personal look, creating Kersailk’s signature hair that prioritises both look and feel.
Happy International Women’s Day to all the strong women in the hairdressing community!
