One of the pinnacle hair events is on the very near horizon – L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy Grand Final 2018 is officially just weeks away, taking place at Crown, Melbourne on February 4. The evening will celebrate the talented hairdressing industry as a whole, particularly the talented finalists, chosen at state semi-finals across the country late last year. The winner, otherwise heralded as the brand’s top colourist, will be crowned on the night, making the event a must-attend.
“Guests will witness a showcase from international hairdressing talent Guylaine Martel from Canada, alongside Australian industry greats, who will present an Avant Garde collection comprised of bold style and top-tier skills. Guylaine is a multi-award winner, including international awards such as the Elite Master title (Contessa’s Awards) & World Haute Coiffure (Française Competition).”
The attendance list will also include appearances from iconic Australian celebrities and musicians, including special guest Dannii Minogue. A well-known Australian music act will take to the stage to enthral the crowd. Stay Tuned…
In terms of the competition, each finalist will recreate their looks in front of brand representatives on the day, with four hours allocated to recreate the looks. A panel of national and international judges will blind judge each model, deciding the grand final winner, who will win the opportunity to participate in the international event.
So save the date, book your flights and officially get hyped – Colour Trophy 2018 is right around the corner.
