L’Oréal Professionnel Name Colour Trophy 2020 SA-TAS Finalists

This week, L’Oréal Professionnel officially kicked off Colour Trophy 2020, with their first live semi-finals on what will be a massive competition tour of Australia. The event, hosted at the Adelaide Festival Centre, put 25 emerging hairdressers against each other in a bold live hair art competition to decide the illustrious finalists progressing to the next round.

Congratulations to this year’s first finalists – the Colour Trophy national finalists have been named as Joe Cotroneo of Zink Hair for a multi-dimensional pink bob, Massimo Tirimacco of Zohair – also last year’s esteemed winner – for a textured golden blonde bob that’s both editorial and wearable and Fiona Fazzalari of Hair Machine Glenelg, for a voluminous bob with hiding strands of bright colour. Madeleine Dicerbo of Zohair is the rising star national finalist, awarded for her fiery red long hair look.

Considering last year’s winner was chosen from the SA-TAS crop, pressure is high on this local community to go back to back, and with such enthralling entries, they’re in with a big chance. The tour will continue on through the month and into March to decide their next stage competitors. Western Australia and Northern Territory will take place on February 11 in Burswood. NSW will be next in Sydney on February 16, while Queensland will take place on February 18 and Victoria will take it into March on March 2 in Melbourne.

The semi-finalists are putting their work in front of some very significant judges – the panel consists of Brodie Lee Tskinaris of ROKSTAR, Damien Rinaldo of Boris The Cuttery, Frank Apostolopoulos of BIBA Salons, Justin Pace of Papas & Pace (QLD), Marie Uva of Uva Salons, Mary Alamine of Royals Hair, Matt Clements of Assembly Hair, Wendy Gunn of Ink Hair and International L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2019 winner.

Who will wow these judges next and earn their ticket to the Colour Trophy 2020 Grand Finale in Melbourne on September 14th?
