A new colour innovation is available thanks to Matrix, who debuted their Tonal Control offering at events around Australia. The colour offering speaks to evolving consumer demands, which require less time in the chair and less spend per session, in order to benefit their schedules and have them booking more frequently, to aid the salon’s bottom line. These express colour services are a simple solution for high impact colour with less time and cost involved.
The pre-bonded, pre-blended and pre-paired technology takes the complexity out of colour. Offered as an ‘in-between’ service, the option puts clients in the chair for shorter time periods, with less financial investment, but more frequently, while also speaking to lived-in colour trends and ensuring less damage.
The colour technology is comprised of pink, neutral, blue and violet colour palettes that settle into these natural, lived-in tones on a spectrum from silver to bronde, strawberry, platinum and more, in a range that currently offers six tones and a clear option for the ultimate customisation.
The national sessions were led by Mat Johnson of MJ Hair, Sam James of SJ Establishment and Kim Astropalitis of Chroma Hair Studio, with the team also joined by Crissy Dennis of Born Pretty and Tori Walker of B&B Hair Boutique in Brisbane, Stacey Wright of Stacey Wright Hair Design and Brodie Kleesh of Fallachi Hair in Melbourne and Letitia Booth of Letitia Booth Hair in Sydney. The teams showcased the service menu on a series of models, while discussing the business benefits of the new colour range. The intimate events took questions from the audience and spoke to attendees about their business and client observations, displaying the relevant, professional mindset these services were built on.
The educators showcased these relevant looks and the diverse service menu on offer. Salons can deliver the Mocha Melt maintained brunette option, Beach Blonde express touch up and the Express 10 Foil Lift that transforms grey or regrowth issues speedily. Style and treatment services can be combined with these colour options as an upsell feature, allowing clients to warm up their hair for winter, fix their regrowth between longer salon visits, add more quality or dimension to their tones or elevate their blondes, but quickly. The education teams also showed off the Matrix Food For Soft range shampoo, conditioner, treatment mask and oil serum that ideally complement these innovations with care.
Made to quicken client service rotations, while also offering your clients the convenience, time efficiency and spending styles they crave in 2023, Matrix Tonal Control keeps the needs of clients in focus, with the salon’s bottom line also a major benefactor.
