A new wellness destination has hit Brisbane thanks to Merse Wellness Spa, situated in the Northern suburbs of Virginia, Queensland and acting as a beacon of wellness, recovery and relaxation. The space opened on January 31 and is looking to redefine the wellness experience.
The extensive range of beauty and wellness service include traditional and Infrared Saunas for deep detoxification, improved circulation and radiant skin, Magnesium Floatation Therapy float pools for rejuvenation and relaxation and Cold Plunge pools to provide relief from muscle soreness, enhance circulation and invigorate the senses, as set at 6° and 12°.
Services extend to Contrast Therapy, which uniquely blends the benefits of hot and cold immersion for relaxation and recovery and Compression Therapy, which uses Normatec boots in a compression therapy room to enhance circulation, reduce swelling and promote quicker muscle recovery. Body Contouring re-sculpts, re-shapes and tones the body in a non-invasive process with a device by EvolveX, which emits 288,000 muscle contractions to tighten skin and melt fat.
Additionally, massage therapy in a myriad of options, tranquil hot spas and spray tanning in the premium VersaSpa® PRO Automated Spray Booth offers further relaxation and elevated beauty offerings. The space additionally partners with Fitness Cartel Health Clubs, to complement the benefits of physical workouts.
The space offers gold, platinum and diamond membership package as well as gift cards as a luxury gift option.

Merse is looking to roll out spas in Queensland and Western Australia in 2024, followed by New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and the ACT, with new centres in each region.
