R+Co Australia have had a busy month, with their founder Howard McLaren here from America to educate at Hair Expo and a new and revolutionary product being launched to media and salons. Welcome Spiritualized, a dry shampoo mist that uses micellar water to instantly cleanse the hair and scalp with no powdery residue, forever changing your clients’ morning routines. That’s right – you can think of it as a wet dry shampoo, the latest iconic addition to the brand’s suite of innovative products and particularly bold developments within this dry shampoo product field.
Howard launched, demonstrated and showed off the product to beauty media at Barney Martin salon in Sydney’s Surry Hills. Then, hairdressers from the brand and salon used the product on the journalists themselves, ensuring they were converts by the time they walked out the door.
The product boasts a rosy eyed fragrance, and is ideal for time between cleansing and after work outs – it’s also perfect for clients with sensitive scalps, refreshing and soothing the hair without causing build up.
The product is made with that all important micellar water – a game changer in skincare that is now being used to important effect here. It is also comprised of Glycerin, a naturally occurring humectant that retains moisture in the hair, Silica, a micro nutrient that improves the strength and condition of the hair, and Castor Oil, an effective humectant to keep hair soft and shiny, while preventing frizziness and conditioning the scalp.
Beauty media left the event a little star struck at meeting the legendary Howard McLaren, with a new must-have product in their bags. With this all important technology, your retail shelves, your tool kits and your bathroom cabinets just discovered their new favourite product.
