Renya Xydis and Monique McMahon are bringing their acclaimed For The Love back to Sydney on October 20, taking place in Paddington. Natalie-Anne will be an important guest in the eight hour guest as these three inspiring women share their experience on social media, backstage at fashion week, in the salon and beyond.
“With Renya and myself both being salon owners and facing similar challenges and success, we are both so driven and always planning the next big thing, so we thought why don’t we do the next big thing together,” said Monique about the workshop’s origin. “Natalie-Anne was also a guest at our Que Academy event last year and the fact the 3 of us are so driven and love sharing on our education platforms it was just the natural next steps to do it together on one platform.”
The intimate session will discuss the difficult details of hair industry life, as well as showcasing live demonstrations from each educator. Monique will focus on colour, Renya will show off editorial styling and Natalie-Anne will educate on big hair and social media as they each cater to their extreme strengths.
More specifically, Renya will capture her retro, nostalgic aesthetics and how to recreate old Hollywood looks, teach the importance of individual management, the art of teasing her, her highly requested pleated French roll and editorial versus salon realities, as well as efficient kit prep. Natalie-Anne will educate on content, best utilising your iPhone in this content creation, shooting with particular products, lighting and Instagram analytics. Monique will specialise in the Scandi hairline for next-level blonde looks, Parisian hair painting, hugely increasing colour turnover, client retention and colour pricing, timing and results.
“For The Love has a new approach, targeting all things hair and business on an open hearted platform,” Monique said. “We talk through and offer solutions to the every day challenges salon owners face. This workshop will take that to a 360 degree level, looking at all things hair from front of house to in-salon education and techniques on styling, cutting and trending colour, as well as getting behind the Instagram lens. This is what makes it stand apart from any other workshops in Australia.”
With prior success due to its intimate, educational, comprehensive nature led by motivational and successful industry women, For The Love is back to inspire and change you as a salon owner. Don’t miss out on tickets!
