Shortcuts Co-Founder Jo Burgess is working on a top secret social media project, harnessing her vast experience in the salon tech space to be of extreme use to salons. She will announce the project at her upcoming webinar, held on Tuesday September 24 on 9:30am as well as 7:30pm.
The free, live webinar is for hairdressers and social media managers looking to gain greater insight into social media as it continues to dominate the modern small business landscape. The webinar is titled ‘Sorting Your Social Like A Pro’, where she’ll share must-have tips and reveal the important project. Both sessions will be live with Jo, think of the early and later sessions as the tea and champagne events, respectively.
The webinar is aimed at audiences who are having difficulties with their social media strategy, find it hard to keep consistent, are not receiving optimal social engagement, are struggling to come up with post ideas or are only managing the basics due to time restraints.
“Honestly, there are so many challenges salon owners face today with social media,” Jo said. “In talking to hairdressers over the years and I hear the same frustrations over and over again. They say it’s hard to find time to post, struggle to stay consistent with their social media, and often don’t know what they should be posting. Planning and scheduling is an issue, how to take the best possible photos or write a killer caption to go with it, and they can’t afford a social media manager to take care of it all for them.”
