Globally recognised luxury cosmetics house Sisley Paris has celebrated the Australian launch of their sensorial haircare line, HAIR RITUEL, at Sydney’s classically luxurious Beta Bar, writes Cameron Pine.
Elegantly packaged with a bespoke customer experience, Sisley has long-been heralded a leader in luxury French skincare. The brand has now directed this advance in cosmetics to haircare with a range of skin and scalp health inspired haircare products – accelerating hair beauty from within.
To celebrate the salon experience centric range, leading media and VIPs gathered at Beta Bar – high ceiling, rich textures and a luxurious palette becoming the ideal backdrop for a new generation of haircare, that refreshingly looks as good as it smells.
The range is backed by an impressive forty year history and expertise in skincare, caring for both the scalp and the hair-fibre simultaneously with six essential treatment products for a complete sensorial hair experience for both women and men. Contrary to popular belief, the composition and functioning of skincells and scalp cells are similar – both are prone to stress, pollution and genetic aging.
The elegantly styled event was hosted by Sisley Paris General Manager for Australia Irene Robinson and National Brand Manager Michelle Wilson – bringing together media with leading session stylists, make-up artists, influencers and the Australian Hair Rituel Squad. This included salon owner and editorial stylist Anthony Nader, Katrina Raftery and celebrity hairstylist Mia Hawkswell. Max May, Pete Lennon, Belinda Jeffrey, Ali Boyle, Taylor James-Redman filled the room with a distinct session styling bent, with hints that the texture spray is already become a behind the scenes hero.
The design of the product range takes on a bold mix of black, blue and yellow, with the venue coming on board with similarly coloured lighting and product displays emphasising both the visual merchandising potential and session styling applications of the brand. Event stylists, the Bespoke Boys drew inspiration from key ingredients within the range, scattering bright yellow mimosa floral arrangements in black vases among the hero products throughout the space.
Kicking off the range are six treatment products officially launching on July 29 – packed with essential oils for scalp health, with plans to continue to roll out more products to complete an entire line of haircare and styling for any application.
A vitalising complex of Zinc, copper, magnesium, Vitamin B6, ProVitamin B5, Vitamin E and Arginine (one of the 20 amino acids that make up the proteins in the range ensures hair vitality is a high priority. Rice Proteins, a complex Vitamin Peptide, an extract of Linseed and Elnkorn wheat and Sage continue to power-packed cocktail of supreme hair health ingredients that promise to improve hair health day after day.
Then there’s the oils – shea, macadamia, camellia, hazelnut, Moringa, Passionfruit and Cottonseed to smooth the hair. The beautifully presented range is designed to meet across four touch points; clean, regenerate, fortify and enhance there’s a Revitalising Smoothing Shampoo, a Restructuring Conditioner, a Regenerating Haircare Mask, a Revitalising Fortifying Serum and a Precious Haircare Oil.
According to Sisley, haircare is the new skincare.
