Hairdressing icon Sharon Blain will be delivering her final styling masterclass at Hair Festival and will have a stand where she will be signing copies of her new book, titled The Confident Stylist, on Sunday at 2pm. You can also find a set of selfie mirrors to have fun with at the Comfortel stand.

In education, dozens of sessions will fill the two days from an array of top-tier brands and educators, and you can discover the list of sessions here. In addition, a session titled Scroll Stopped from TheHair.App and renowned session hairdresser Richard Kavanagh has been added, which will teach hair creation for the camera, social media, competitions, editorial, and campaigns, while sharing Richard’s incomparable editorial expertise that explores how to choose and apply products, harnessing the energy and movement in the hair for content and Richard’s secrets from backstage in Milan, Paris and New York fashion weeks.
Within all the festivities, don’t forget the morning of the REALtalk Business Forum where salon owners will learn everything about mental health and wellness, technology and the future of salons, the global industry and so much more.

The Hair Festival Competitions will close out proceedings on Monday afternoon over six categories that assess women’s street style and editorial hair, men’s hair, bob styles, colour and salon teamwork.
The Wonderland party will take over Sydney’s Establishment bar on Sunday night, with installations, dancing, food and drinks to celebrate the industry and act as the ultimate hairdressing community party.
