The platform, titled beauty junkie, is the product of experienced makeup artist Stefanie Coella and her husband Ashley Natoli, empowering the professional hair and beauty industries by allowing consumers to turn to verified professionals and experts in their field.
The platform was built from a need for professional freelancers to be able to connect with prospective clients, form ongoing relationships and build their personal businesses. Professionals in the beauty sphere will make a profile page that shows off their experience, services, products and price point, as well as hosting reviews. Much like powerful service apps in the market, such as Uber and Airbnb, the app will offer a two-way review system so clients can be rated as well. The result is greater transparency for both parties involved, allowing for long-term, professional relationships to flourish and creating a fully-fledged, beauty-led community.
