TIGI Host TIGI Tribe Event

Attendees from salons located as far as South Australia, Canberra, Central and South Coast NSW came together at a luxury Woolloomoolo location to talk all things hair earlier this week. The TIGI Tribe event, held twice a year, took place at Ovolo, and presented a chance for the extensive TIGI Tribe loyalty program members to reunite, network and grow, be inspired and motivated in a collaborative and supportive environment, writes Michelle Ruzzene.

At this one-day seminar, participants heard about leadership, self-empowerment, and strategies to manage their teams to achieve the results they deserve from business coach guest speaker Julie Cross.

TIGI also unveiled a brand ambassador partnership with Michele McQuillan, session stylist for runways around the world and the hottest luxury brands. She shared her career journey, insights and anecdotes from her time ‘on the circuit’ and her learnings working backstage.

Michele said she was “super excited and honoured” to be working with TIGI. “I can’t wait  to share knowledge and create, revive and explore new ways to use the product range and tools,” she said.

“I’ve been using TIGI products for so many years now, so it’s just as exciting for me to rediscover and learn news ways to apply their products to my work and am very excited for the months ahead.”

TIGI also showcased a game changing impressive new innovative wash and care and retail line to be launched later in 2018, which was available to experience on the day.

TIGI Tribe members dined at Alibi Bar and wined at Lo Lounge under Ovolo’s beautiful converted warehouse setting while relaxing and enjoying discussing business tips and tricks from their like-minded Tribe cohort from across Australia.

TIGI will host a much-anticipated two-day conference later in the year at an idyllic location, which will cover more in-depth business building workshops with salon experts, a TIGI night show featuring the hottest trends in hair and fashion, plus a hands-on test and learn with new innovations before they hit the market. There will also be the usual socialising and catch-ups with salon owners and professionals from within the TIGI Tribe and abroad.
