View the 2019 Hair Expo Colour Technician of the Year Collection

Papas and Pace salon was one of the major victors in Monday night’s Hair Expo Awards Gala, going home with three trophies for the salon. The team itself won for Salon Team of the Year, Dmitri Papas won the new title of Master Cutter and Justin Pace was awarded the major title of Colour Technician of the Year, with this inspiring collection.

Titled Stained Glass, the collection of six images gives new meaning to multi-dimensional, iridescent colour, mirroring its title in its melted hues and brilliant tones. Flashes of bright red float throughout the collection, seamlessly interplaying with bold greens, softer yellows and darker tones, while sitting alongside a trending pink hero look. No two looks are even remotely the same, but all are unified by the skillful techniques and dynamic use of colour that anchors them.

The hair cuts themselves are also creatively motivating, with cool short cuts, a modern bob, mullet-style techniques and unique fringes taking over the collection. Copper eyes define the beauty look, while opulent fashion styling with lace, sequins and velvet in black, silver and red evoke luxury worthy of the hair looks.
