The Australian Hair fashion Awards (AHFAs) this month proved a big night for TONI&GUY, as Jo Smith from TONI&GUY Georges won Victorian Hairdresser of the Year, Katy Reeve from TONI&GUY Paddington won NSW Hairdresser of the Year and the Artistic Team at large won for Artistic Team of the Year – and you can see that collection right here.
The talented hairdressers behind the collection were listed as Dion Lee Andrew, Jack Morton, Nadia Semanic, Katy Reeve and Elizabeth Shedwick. The dream team concocted a list of looks set against a muted backdrop, with dual editorial inspirational salon relevant wearability. Hero looks include a fiery, rich red head long hair look, a detailed, textured blonde short hair look and a voluminous bob that gives new shape and meaning to the idea of the mullet. An asymmetrically layered grey bob fuses set and salon hair perfectly, while a broken fringe is another unique technique displayed.
There’s no shortage of must-have hair techniques packed into the collection, and it’s no wonder it won for it’s ingenuity, creativity and relevance in the realm of Artistic Team. Congratulations TONI&GUY!
