Welcome Cool Fibres, a collection of forward-thinking modern looks crafted in black and white and taken from across the pond. The collection, by Marcello Moccia & Karen Perry of Room97 Creative, won the prize for North Western Hairdresser of the Year at the 2018 Hairdressers Journal British Hairdressing Awards (BHAs) – check out the looks below for yourself to learn why.

The close up collection is set up on a grey backdrop, anchored by dark, bold eye makeup and distinct poses. Apart from these editorial connections, the hair looks are the major focus, showcasing short hair looks, a shaved head hero style, wearable waves, original textures, unique sectioning and overall attention to detail. The moody collection is decidedly modern, showcasing salon-worthy elements under a heavy editorial aesthetic.
