Leading Asia-Pacific B2B beauty event, Cosmoprof Asia 2023, is coming back to Hong Kong from November 15 to 17 as hosted at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, celebrating 26 years of the beloved beauty institution.
The event will welcome more than 2000 exhibitors from 43 countries and regions and around 60,000 attendees. Attendees can expect a diverse, globally significant exhibitor line-up in dynamic Hong Kong, which is renowned for its business-friendly environment, thanks to its regulation as a free trade port and tax free zone.
The event is delineated into two separate areas. Cosmopack Asia will be held from November 14 to 16 in AsiaWorld-Expo, congregating global leaders of the supply chain and focusing on ingredients, machinery, equipment, packaging, contract manufacturing and private label. Product categories include Primary & Secondary Packaging, OEM and ODM, Machinery, Ingredients & Lab, as well as Print & Label.
Additionally, Cosmoprof Asia will take place from November 15 to 17 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, with a focus on branded finished products, retail and professional distribution channels. Sectors include Beauty Salon, Perfumery and Cosmetics, Hair and Nail Products & Accessories, as well as Natural & Organic.
Attendees can expect an exhibition area that’s over 100,000 sqm over both spaces, which inclides 17 group and country pavilions including Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the USA.
“I attended Cosmoprof Asia and was truly impressed with the value it provided,” shared Kishin Primalani, Director of Ess Kay Pte. Ltd. In Singapore. “The event created an incredible platform for beauty and cosmetics professionals from all over the world to connect, learn, and grow. The range of exhibitors and products on display was vast, allowing me to discover new trends, technologies, and innovations in the industry.”
Special features include a dedicated buyers program, which is an initiative that invites key buyers from China, Asia Pacific countries, Europe and the USA and is specifically tailored to cater to senior executives and key business players, with every nominated buyer assessed for their potential to contribute to the event and their relevance to the exhibitors. Exhibitors will be given the opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders and decision-makers for long-term business relationships and insights.
The event will be filled with guest speakers, trendsetters and visionaries in special highlights such as CosmoTalks, which is the exclusive round tables of the Cosmoprof network, featuring global cosmetics leaders discussing trends forecasts, industry insights and more. CosmoForum presentations will provide in-depth market analyses and case studies of specific consumer behaviour, while CosmoOnstage will present live shows and demo sessions by industry influencers, showcasing innovative products, equipment and services across nail art, makeup, and spa and wellness treatments, as well as a nail competition. On this stage, an exclusive and inspiring stage performance organised by The AHMA Hair Council will be held to celebrate the creativity of the winners of the Barber Battle, Hong Kong 2023.
Other major highlights include the Cosmoprof Asia & Cosmopack Asia Awards, organised in partnership with BEAUTYSTREAMS, which honours companies for their research and development in formulation, packaging, sustainability, storytelling and value proposition, as celebrated in a finalist gallery and winner announcement event.
Trend insights will come courtesy of CosmoTrends, with a report by BEAUTYSTREAMS that will lead operators, buyers, trend-scouters, press and influencers through the event’s innovations, by analysing upcoming consumer habits. This will be showcased in a special installation on the show floor with the trending products, and a CosmoTalks session available to all attendees. Highlighting sustainability, the interactive installation COSMOLAB, developed in collaboration with OPAL, will deliver a multisensory experience of how green beauty trends can change consumers’ behaviour, as well as showing the benefits of sustainability in product manufacturing. Each visitor will be given a guided journey and a limited-edition Clean Beauty Skincare set in eco-friendly packaging.
