The biggest night on the industry calendar is almost here – the finalists have been announced, the date and time is set and the event is drawing nearer and nearer with the Hair Expo Awards Gala. The event will be held at Melbourne’s The Plenary, closing the three day Hair Expo event on June 11. Think – a red carpet, delicious three course meal and full awards reveal to truly have the industry talking and celebrating.
Aside from the awards presentation, the evening will showcase two editorial hair shows courtesy of Jason Fassbender and Danny Pato, the 2017 Australian Hairdresser of the Year and 2017 New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year, respectively. Jason and the Parlour Hair Artistic Team, in partnership with L’Oréal Professionnel, will be presenting ‘Digital Couture’, described as “an exploration of colour and fashion-driven silhouettes; a pure runway experience set to driving digital rhythms and mind-bending visuals”.
For his part, Danny will be bringing his 2018 nominated collection to life. “We are going to celebrate what makes us different and embrace the beauty of cultural diversity,” he said.
The enticing after party event will be held at Left Bank Melbourne and sponsored by ELEVEN Australia for a final celebration to see off the inimitable Hair Expo weekend.
