The Master Cutter of the Year Award celebrates the art of haircutting and is the newest creative category launched with the Hair Expo Awards 2019. While other creative awards categories require up to six photographs as well as a written business submission, the new Master Cutter of the Year category criteria calls for a collection of just three images – no written submission is required.
The award will be given to a hairdresser that demonstrates superior cutting prowess, with the photographic submission to show styles that reflect contemporary and emerging hair fashion trends. Importantly, no wefts, wigs, extensions, hairpieces or other materials of any kind can be used in this category; it’s all about natural hair cutting.
Hair Expo has designed this category with all hairdressers in mind – it’s open to Australian and NZ hairdressers at any stage of their career, provided they have a regular client column.
So, if you’re serious about taking a leap in your career in 2019, it’s time to think about entering. The Master Cutter of the Year is one of 19 awards categories; including four business categories and 15 creative categories. Follow in the footsteps of some of the world’s leading names in hair and reap the benefits of taking home a Hair Expo Award; exposure, recognition and the opportunity to have your work assessed by the crème de la crème of the hairdressing industry.
Awards submissions are now open through to Wednesday 20 March 2019 – head to the Hair Expo Australia website to familiarise yourself with category criteria and the rules and regulations of entry.
