Box Hill Institute will implement the world-renowned Pivot Point curriculum in February 2019, which has created new part-time and casual teaching opportunities.
Hairdressers, barbers and make-up artists holding the Certificate IV in Teaching (TAE40116) are invited to apply.
Head of Hair and Beauty, Ruth Browne said, “The change will play a major part in reinventing Box Hill Institute’s hairdressing education. It’s an exciting time as we move to provide hairdressing and barbering students the most industry-relevant training possible.
“Salon employers are going to be thrilled with the level of skill and knowledge their apprentices will have as a result,” she said.
Ruth Browne is one of Australia’s foremost experts in the respected Pivot Point training method. She was General Manager of Pivot Point in Australia for 22 years.
